lemon sauce chicken recipe instructions how to make
1-1/2 lb. chicken breast cut into 2 x 1 inch pieces
Soak in 1 Tbsp sherry and 1-1/2 tsp. soy sauce for 10 minutes
Then dredge your soaked chicken first in 1 cup cornstarch, then into a bowl with 1/2 cup of milk, then again in cornstarch then deep fry.
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. yellow food color
Cooking over medium high heat in a sauce pan, bring to a boil while constantly stirring. Add in 5 lemon slices (optional) then cook for another minute.
Pour over crispy fried chicken. Delish!
