that left foot is a beast when you can utilize it, and Chris Coleman is in the top 15 if not 10 drummers of all time, and i base that on technique, dynamics , timing, control and creativity..

@Drumtome Of course there are white guys that can play like that.I see them all the time.But probably not with that type of swag.Thats the edge most black musicians have over all others.We play by feel.We are mentally involved but 90% plays by feel and that CAN NOT be explained.

@baxtertniles1 Coleman is amazing, probably the best newer guy on the scene right now. But to say he is in a another league above Vinnie? You need to listen to some more Colaiuta... put them both in a straight ahead jazz context and it wouldn't even be fair. It would be like putting Michael Jordan up against a high school player... I'm not trying to take anything away from Chris...the guy is sick, but Vinnie would school anyone...

I know there is Vinnie Paul, Vinnie Appice, and others... they would all agree... Vinnie Colaiuta is the man...
