Damn. That fight in part 5/6 must've taken more out of you than I thought. I suggest NOT going to that shadow infested tower when your're in that condition. You'll be able to fight better when you're forte (You do swordplay, right?) in a much better shape.

Oh I stay awake. I can't say I listen exactly. I only stay awake cause there's a random chance the teacher will call on me to answer a question. If I get it right then my charm goes up.
