There's a map for that - Verizon commercial

Hah. New Verizon commercial going after AT&T and Apple. "There's a map for that". For total irony, I recorded this commercial using an iPhone 3GS. For more info: http://gdgt.com/

Yes, CDMA can't do data + voice at the same time. However, you can if you have Wi-Fi connection

With verizon phones, you can't do anything with your phone while you are recieving a message. And at&t has the fastest 3g. Verizon's 3G is no better than EDGE. I have never had a problem with at&t voice coverage.

Yeah, its all about what service provider is best in your area. AT&T are at a draw in large cities, but, in rural areas and cities with less than 30K people - AT&T still doesn't provide 3G. Polishing up your post, I suggest that users go out and buy a phone from AT&T or the Verizon store and check it out ~ there is usually a $35 restocking fee and 30 days to return it - if it works, great, keep it, if not suck up the $35 and try the other carrier.

In the Southeast, Verizon dominates and provides 3G and superior cellular service than AT&T any day. I loved my iPhone, but no 3G (not even in larger cities) and shotty signal quality ~ well, I switched 2 weeks ago to verizon, and yes got the droid ~ and I'm a Mac user.

why are you fools arguing about one carriers superiority over another? You're slaves to The Man anyway you look at it, and you will continue to pay whatever ridiculous rates they want, because they own the market.

I have had both carriers and Verizon dominates in Northeast, at least where I live and travel (Boston, DC, NYC, Philly)
