There are numerous sources which can refute these romantic myths, but the most condensed publication, based on careful historical, documented research, is Pappes most recent book., The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine. I know you won't read it, but you should. Israel's history is occluded by heroic legend and propoganda; the truth must be known by Israelis.

Then why are Pappes assertions silent by all the hundreds of thousands of people who lived the WAR? Were they all on drugs? Were all the newsparers photoshopped? Were they false memories implanted? What about Majmoud Abbas and his statement about fleeing Israel? Deir Yassin is the exception and the 1948 Holocaust of Arabs is sheer exaggeration.
