A family of leopards lived in Ein-Gedi nature reserve. Lately they are not seen anymore. Do they still exist?

  • Indeed a visual treat of some of the rare Leopards in the World. Congradulations for your dedication and conservation efforts.

Hope they survive in wild for next generation to see and cherish...

    Good luck

  • Interesting. Bearing in mind the Leopard mentioned in the Book of Daniel and Rev 13. Surely, is a sign. Especially after the speech of Obama the Leo from Africa yesterday. Remember this the Leopard does not change his spots!

  • I saw the leopard from very close in 1990, completeley unexpected!

  • עצוב מאד אם הטורף על הזה יעלם מנופינו

  • Reminds me of Jules Verne's "The Lost World".

  • wow...i was in Ein Gedi last august (it was bloody hot) and we went to the nature reserve and saw the sign about wild leapords. Didn't really believe it but how incredible. I do hope they are still alive and out there...what a credit to those who built that lush greenery that is the ein gedi oasis out of sand and rubble.

  • It hurts to see how such a beautiful and great species gone more and more extinct.

There is a old saying: "Hope never dies"... but is there still hope..between guns, traps and other cruel things. It is time to wake up and realize that not only the human species had a right to live on this small world... And you are a great example for a human mind who still have realize it...THANK YOU FOR THIS!

For the nature, for the animals, for the last leopards...so that they will live forever...

    Good luck
