Boney M Exodus (Noah's Ark 2001) Lyrics:
Get on board our Silver Sun
This is Noah's Arc
In the year 2001
Up in heaven's spark.
Exodus, we go to another world.
Exodus, foundation a better world.
Journey of discovery.
From this world of ours.
Flying to a new home in the stars.
Exodus, into the future
Another world, we fly away.
Exodus, into the dawn of
A better world, another day.
Exodus, a new horizon
Another world we've just begun
Exodus, we face tomorrow
A better world, another sun.
Exodus, we go to another world.
Exodus, foundation a better world.
Sailing thru to the universe

Near the speed of light
Planet earth is blue
and out of sight.
Exodus, into the future
Another world, we fly away.
Exodus, into the dawn of
A better world, another day.
Exodus, a new horizon
Another world we've just begun
Exodus, we face tomorrow
A better world, another sun.
Get on board our Silver Sun
This is Noah's Arc
In the year 2001
Up in heaven's spark.
Exodus
Exodus
Exodus
Exodus
Exodus, a new Dimension
Another world, we've just begun
Exodus, we face tomorrow
A better world, another sun.
Exodus, we face tomorrow
A better world, another sun.
Exodus, a new horizon...

Exodus ( exodos "departure, expedition, procession") is the second book of the Hebrew Bible, and the second of five books of the Torah (the Pentateuch).
The book narrates the Exodus of the children of Israel out of Egypt: Moses leads them through the wilderness to Mount Sinai. There the God of Israel, through Moses, gives the Hebrews their laws and enters into a covenant with them, by which he will give them the land of Canaan (the "Promised Land") in return for their faithfulness. The book ends with the construction of the Tabernacle.
Like all of the Pentateuch, the textual history of the Book of Exodus is complicated, and scholarly opinions on its various components are divided. The traditional documentary hypothesis assumes it is a compilation of various source texts of the monarchic period. The extant Hebrew text is the result of a redaction during the 5th century BCE.
The central theme of Exodus is the relationship of the God of Israel with his chosen people. God is depicted as the active part initiating the transaction at each stage, from the Burning Bush to the epiphany at Sinai, wishing to maintain the covenant that began with Noah and was expanded upon with Abraham.
Exodus also shows the importance of genealogy in the Tanakh: Israel is elected for salvation because as "the firstborn son" of the God of Israel, descended though Shem and Abraham to the chosen line of Jacob. The theme of election by birth will later narrow still further, to the line of David, the descendant of Judah, and further in Christianity by the genealogy connecting David with Joseph father of Jesus.
The goal of the divine plan as revealed in Exodus is a return to man's state in Eden, so that God could dwell with the Israelites as he had with Adam and Eve: in Exodus, he dwells with Israel through the medium of the Ark and Tabernacle, which together form a model of the universe. In monotheism, and especially in Christian and Muslim proselytism, this came to be interpreted as Israel being the guardian of God's plan for mankind in general.[30] That so much of the book (chapters 25-31, 35-40) is spent describing the plans of the Tabernacle, demonstrates the importance it played the perception of ancient Judaism at the time of the text's redaction. The Tabernacle is important because it is imagined as the locus of a direct physical presence of God, where the Israelite priesthood could be in direct, literal communion with him.
