K4 No. 61994 "The Great Marquess" is seen about to join the West Highland Line at Craigendoran Junction on the "West Highlander" railtour to Fort William and Mallaig, just as daylight was breaking. The K4 is preceeded by 67004 on the northbound Caledonian Sleeper at Helensburgh Upper. Also seen are a few SPT class 320s on local services at Craigendoran and Dumbarton, passing 47760, which ran light to stable at dumbarton Central as a standby loco for the steam special.
