i heard the door creak open.Although i was hesitant to turn around,i dared
myself to.Ready to face whoever dared to enter my room.

Nera:Hey.
I struggled to straighten up.
Nick:Oh! Hey..
She looked at the mess i made and looked back up at me with a curious
expression.
Nera:What happened here?
Nick:Doesn't matter.Come have a seat.
She sat in the chair that was next to my bed.I reached over for a kiss,but she
ignored it and sat down.I looked at her.She looked like she was nervous.I
stroked her cheek gently,and she turned her face.
Nick:What's wrong nera?
Nera:Nothing.
Nick:Babe your lying to me.Tell me what's wrong.
Nera:In a minute.Just let me get my thoughts together...are you okay though? You
look like you've been crying.
Nick:..not really.
Nera:Well what's
wrong?
Nick:My parents are going to stop the search for Joe and Alex.
Her eyes went wide.
Nera:Are you serious?!
Nick:Completely.I mean,how could they do that?!To their own son!I never would
have thought that our parents would give up so easily.It's only been a few weeks and their just going to end everything..just like that! I swear I-
Nera:Nick i don't love you anymore.
Those 6 words put a hole right through my chest.After all we've been through...she doesn't love me?I felt the tear reach the brim of my eyes,but i was able to
gather enough strength to hold them in.
Nick:Wh-what?
Nera:I don't love you anymore Nick...i'm sorry.
Nick:What do you mean you don't love me?I thought the feelings we had for each
other were real.
Nera:Nick i never really loved you.I just...i don't know.
Nera was on the verge of tears.She couldn't even look me in the eyes.
Nick:Your lying to me.
Nera:No Nick.I'm
not.
Nick:Yes you are!Why are you doing this to yourself?To us?
Nera:Nick there is no us.There has never been and never will be an us.I was just jealous of you and Nadira's relationship and i just wanted the attention that
you gave her.But i've realized that i don't need it.I can do much better then
you.I mean..i don't mean to upset you,but i just don't love you.
She got up,covering her mouth and ran out of the room.I looked towards the door
for a long minute.I threw my head at the pillow.I felt numb all over. New tears
ran down my cheeks.Everything was drifting away from me.My whole life slipping
through my fingers.
