How to set up a Dazzle DVC 100 (Mac/PC)

Read this before asking me any questions.

This is the set up for both either Mac or PC

Whats needed
- 3X Male to female RCA cable splitters
- Double ended RCA cables
- Composite S Video (Universal if using not only Xbox360)
- Dazzle (Not sure about other Dazzles but the DVC 100 works wonders)
- Input on your TV
- Computer (Mac/PC)




How to set up
1.Plug splitters into Dazzle
2. Plug Composite S video cables into the correct spots ( Red to Red, White to White). Save S-Video for later
3. Plug double ended RCA cables into the other half of the splitters.
4. Plug S-Video in the correct spot. (If your using my S-Video cable make sure you cut some of the case.........(This is for all S Video cables....Carefully cut the case if it's too thick to fit in the dazzle...I recommend you to be very careful or get a parent to do it....I'm not responsible if you hurt yourselfs).
5. Plug the other end of the double RCA cable into the TV.
6. Turn on your gaming console and TV.
7. Plug in Dazzle USB into your computer
8. Open up your software


For Mac

-Software - VideoGlide

-------Settings for VideoGlide (HD)---------- - Record - Video Settings - Compression A. Compression type - H.264 B. Frames per second - Best C. Drag quality to Best - Record - Video Settings - Adjustments A. Click DEFAULTS B. Could mess around with sharpness and other stuff if you want - Record - Video Settings - Source A. VideoGlide - S Video or Composite your choice - Record - Sound Settings A. You could mess around here if you want. I don't have to though. - Record - Custom Size A. Change to 1280x720 - Hit Command(Apple thing) R to record. Click on the record box when finished.

For PC

- I can't help you much on here but its exactly the same but just different software. Just install the software that came with your dazzle.


Extra Info

- Don't buy piece of garbage material. Video/Sound quality may go down. (I am replacing my RCA cables with Monster cables.
-Monster cables are extremely expensive but keeps the sound and video quality at the best. I only have access to these because their my dads
- GigaWare is the brand of my Composite S-Video. It's a great cable and all but the S-Video casing is gay. I had to cut it.
- Make sure to buy the universal S-Video cables instead of only one type (ex. Xbox360 S-Video) Even if you don't have a Wii or PS3. It would be better to get the universal just in case and I believe their better :P
- Check before you buy the items. Check my video and other videos to make sure what your buying. You will be pissed if you bought the wrong wires.

@Xanpakuto the easycap is worse i think, though that cost me 10 pounds :P Might give this a go, only downside is you dont get 60fps do you :/
