@nykdanger Meat Loaf was the composer, Jim Steinman was the lyricist, but I agree, their efforts combined crafted three of the greatest albums ever written.

Why is it, that on albums there is a slightly different guitar solo to the on the video, if you see where I am coming from.

@nykdanger Meat Loaf is an incredible vocalist but he is NOT a lyricist, this like many of his songs has both music and lyrics written by Jim Steinman, who writes the beautifully epic songs of which you describe, just saying.

Meat Loaf is one of the greatest lyricists to have ever lived. All of his songs are so incredibly moving and haunting. Probably one of the most amazing artists to ever grace us with his talent!
