Konec srpna v hotelu Ozon - Doupov

A clip from 1967 Czech postapocalyptic movie "Konec srpna v hotelu Ozon" ("End of August at the Hotel Ozone"). This sequence was shot in former city of Doupov (Duppau), which is a part of an extensive military training area. Origins of the city date to 11th-12th century, local population was mostly German. German inhabitants of the city were expelled to Germany during the WW2 aftermath and the city was repopulated by Czechs, who had also to leave in 1954 as the military training range was established under communist regime. The city fell into ruins and was gradually destroyed, only one building survived to 21st century.
