It's really surprising that Blake Bell hasn't emerged yet as a true backup to Landry Jones. Most Sooner fans were expecting this, and after the 2011 Spring Game, many of us were shocked that Drew Allen beat out Bell as the backup QB. I guess things can change, but I had high expectations for Bell, and I would definitely like to see a true running threat at QB for the Sooners in the near future.

Gee...do we have to see the same, lousy play over and over? And he doesn't even throw it well there, as the receiver has to twist and turn or reach down for the ball. And there is no zip to his pass. There are no tight spirals. Seems he needs a little work.
