I have a buggy, the atomic. I say scrap pile because thats how it sits. I fix it, it breaks. I know I know thats the hobby. but the planetary gears could be made of something stronger, the diff housings aluminum, and the center two speed swapped out for a center diff... any thoughts?

Yep thats me, metal gearbox is the best option for the atomic, I have a single speed upgrade available that helps, but its still just a 1/10 cheapy so you can't expect too much from a car that sells on ebay for under $180, go for a 1/8 before you waste too much money on it is my advice

lol. 2 running, one in winter tear down mode and one custom project. The HSP is just for kicks. it takes 3 weeks to get parts from Aus, I haven't ordered from plaig yet, Im waiting till after x-mass. I do use the buggy, RWD mostly, right now needs a pull start and new rear tires. RWD kills the tires.
