And Ayers is not his friend. He lived close to Obama when he was a child and at one point served on a commitee with him. Obama probably didn't know about his past, nor would he have any reason to ask him.

bearhunter Torture is against the Constitution and the Geneva Convention, morally its also against the Bible . Torture is a medieval practice and uncivilized . The world used to uphold America as a beacon of liberty and democracy, now the world hates us because of Bush. Obama is ending torture not only because it does not work , but because it is a violation of our country's laws. Now Obama needs to go after the torturers themselves by recommending that a special prosecutor be appointed.

Take William Ayers, his close friend and former co-worker as a case in point.
