@roboroschi It's open to interpretation. My take is that Idaho is considered a "backward" state, repressed, not sophisticated. Perhaps there is a region of Italy that's mainly farmers, not known for art & music? Same thing. So someone "living in their own private Idaho" has that mindset no matter where they are. You could be in the middle of New York City or Rome and cling to that same narrow view & miss or even hate & fear the variety around them, never open up to new things. Make sense?
feature away killbadd... :)

Thanks Beatwrt for the comment. I've never watched the episode you're referring to. Maybe you're right but like I said there's no telling with artist. Adam's Song by Blink 182 is a good example. When you listen to the lyrics you might conclude it's about teen suicide but I read an article and the band said it was about being out on road touring.

Read the lyrics it might help you out with the title. If I had to guess, (and with artist it's not always easy to interpret) it's mean too much introspection is not a good thing.

Man...I almost forget about my youtube account . Ha! Well, glad you enjoyed the vid. I can definitely relate to the lyrics being an over the road truck driver. That's where I live most of the time, "In my own private Idaho".
