  • @PresidentTeleprompte What the hell are you talking about? Couldn't be more the opposite!

  • if you are not fighting oligarchy your spinning your wheels. - Webster Tarpley, and i am sure some one else.

  • The law is the law: if Switzerland chooses not to extradite him, then that's the law and you must obey it!

Will all the pro-law fanatics demand that anyone who disobeyed Communist law under the USSR or Cambodia in the 1970s, by setting up a business or whatever Communist law forbade, be extradited back to those countries and punished?

  • I don't give a FUCK what anyone calls it.

Raping a 13-year-old girl for the duration of time that Polanski did is exactly 1/(50000)-th as bad as raping and killing a billion 13-year old girls do the way conservatives and fossil-fuel industry and DEA do every time they destroy the climate, steal trillions of dollars from taxpayers, lock those girls in prison for smoking pot.

  • Fucking conservaturd americans preach about cutting costs and cutting government spending. But, when it comes to a hollywood celebrity accused of rape, these hypocrites' priorities instantly change from "let's cut costs! Let's not spend money prosecuting crimes against humanity by Bush and Cheney or bankers or the fossil fuel industries that destroys the climate"

to "the law! the law! the law!", wasting MILLIONS of tax dollars going after Polanski.

  • Do reporters have the mental capacity to ask the question:

    HOW MUCH punishment? HOW OFTEN?

Hasn't Polanski suffered enough for his crime?

Time to prosecute and extradite Bush and Cheney for THEIR crimes,

and TORTURE them the way they tortured others.

I've been a Peta supporter for 30 years. I was glad Michael Vick went to prison for 3 years (I'd have made it 1 year), but COME ON! Move ON!

Time to throw MEAT-EATERS in prison!

    FYI: prison IS torture.

  • He's passionate, and articulate, with ballz like coconutz! Makes me wish that I was gay. And also, he would have to be gay I guess, lest it be by means of burglery. Oh well, I'll always have Cheney.

  • @tafw In what way did the girl "consent"? What convinces you that she consented? I find it pretty difficult to believe that you even can consent to having an adult man ram his penis up your bumhole when you're only 13 years old. How on earth can you be expected to know what you're in for?

  • Just because he is (supposedly) a cinematic genius doesn't put him above the law. Just because he got corrupted (really?) by American culture doesn't mean he's not responsible for his actions. Just because there are bigger crimes (very few) doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be punished. Just because America is full of pedophiles (according to you) doesn't mean he's innocent.

Your arguments are ludicrous, Max. You'd be thinking very differently if she was your daughter.
