Lakeside Park

I made this small slide show to show a few pictures from Lakeside Park, otherwise known of Port Dalhousie. A great place not far from me, which Rush sang about. Thus why the accompanying soundtrack is some of the song "Lakeside Park" by Rush. =)

@anglerfly Well at 1:02 is a black screen, and the second before that is a picture of me ON THE CAROUSEL, with kids sitting behind me waiting for their turn. So I don't know what you're talking about in MY pictures.

Great photos. Love this Rush song. Is there any chance you can take enough photos or video to play the full length version. That'd be great.

I rewrote the lyrics to this song with a friend of mine many years ago about a place called Rivelin Park near where I live in Sheffield, England. This place holds many fantastic memories for me as a teenager growing up in such beautiful surroundings, in a similar way that Lakeside Park has for Neil I would imagine.
