People definitely overuse the term "epic fail." I've heard it enough in common terminology on a day-to-day basis by a bunch of kids and it pisses me off. Normally, I'd imagine and epic failure involving a really tough journey, brutal trials and tribulation, violence and carnage, and a sudden death. But, people using these terms are so obsesses with "winning" that any mistake (no matter how little) becomes such a hindrance and obstacle. I think the whole "epic fail" notion just needs to stop.
