Highlights from one of our best Backyard Wrestling matches. It's an all-out brawl at a public park, and we battled for almost 45-minutes!
Watch for some great comments, funny 1-liners, awesome wrestling moves, lots of weapons and me stylin' and profilin'!
Look for baseball bats, lots of fake blood, and lots of styrofoam?
My character was "THE REEL DEAL"
This was a "W.A.R. VETERAN'S" TITLE MATCH, with NO RULES!
"THE REEL DEAL" VS. "DR. JAY".
Obviously I cannot show the entire match, because YouTube only allows 10-minute videos.
The actual match lasted almost 45-minutes, but this is just a "highlight reel".
My young cousins are in the "audience" for this match.
This was filmed at Kennedy Park in Niles, Ohio.
This is a 10-minute Greatest Hits compliation of only one of our "Backyard Wrestling" matches.
Me and a group of my friends had our own Backyard Wrestling federation in the late 80s and early 90s.
It was called: W.A.R. - "WRESTLING AND ROCK".
We took hours of video footage and had hundreds of matches, and dozens of "fans" who would come and watch.
We wrestled for about 4 straight summers, from 1989 to 1994.
Watch the whole thing, because it gets better as it goes on.
WARNING: Violent, (and cheesy), but fun!
It's not the best quality, and the sound skips, but hey what do you want?
It was taken from an old VHS tape.
