It's not Gaelic it's Gaeilge. Gaelic is a group of languages. Maureen is talking Irish in that scene at least from the few words I could hear as the sound is bad.

in her auto biography called 'tis' she admits to knowing only few words in irish and that they just pretended to speak irish making up gibberish so people that claim they understand wat shes sayin are hilarious!!
