Sigur Rós: Í Gær- Minn Heima

I made this video for a contest that Sigur Ros announced in November, 2007 http://www.youtube.com/group/MinnHeima .

This short film was shot in HD and the footage that was provided from Sigur Ros was upconverted to HD. Filmed and edited in a week, this has been a really fun project to take on. All original footage filmed by me.
The contest rules were to use the footage that they provided, mixed with one's own footage. I decided to create a narrative after listening to I Gaer several times.

My actors and actresses were awesome and they helped out a lot. With out them, I couldn't have done this video!

On my playlist, I have several songs that I absolutely adore. Amoung these are several by Sigor Ros right in a row. Today I put my playlist on autoplay. After hearing all of the Sigor Ros songs, my playlist turned to a song by another band. Is it just me, or does all other music seem somehow shallow in comparison to the poetry of Sigor Ros?

@idis1abad of a ten city DNA survey i saw of almost 1000 blacks it was new orleans that had the most white in their blacks, over 22%...

I've never done any genetic testing on my family history so I really don't know. If I had to guess, I'd say about 5-10% only because I live in the southeast where blacks tend to be less racially mixed than anywhere in the country.

@idis1abad we have to and with blacks we have to be even more respectful relative to what they really deserve, and this is hard on alot of whites that know bringing them over here was our biggest national mistake (minus the civil war and other wars i'd say...)

as per brain scans during image variation as to race (pictures of a variety of people), along with questions it is ALL people that are the most afraid of blacks (men) compared to other races, ages, etc... i'm always chill

@idis1abad i would never blame people for what they are naturally, but this MUST be balanced with a level of expected behavior that is the norm/average for america and blacks fail this norm QUITE badly, whereas if these same blacks with no white genetic material and worse behavior in africa were among themselves doing their thing i would have far less problem with them - obvious why this is so due to the stigma of cross racial crimes... as partially outlined on my channel at its worst

@idis1abad i feel the same way, but i worry that in defense and STANDING MY GROUND i still might be charged with something... i've been in many fights but i ALWAYS consider myself the good guy, NEVER initiating violence...

its good to see blacks of your sort, i so tire of the loud, pushy and arrogant, which would be far more a respected thing by me if they had jewish IQ and levels of accomplishment, but its quite the opposite... of course with all people there is a range - u r rare

@idis1abad blacks have the highest confidence ratings, the most self esteem - as u said in other terms... so this higher hormone level thing also translates into more sex and violence and feel good satisfaction and this also feeds into suicide rates, blacks have the lowest suicide rates, asians the highest, whites in between... so how much white do u think u have in you? with over 90% of black america having some white in them, with an average of about 17% white genetic material...

@glorp896 Sometimes I even feel like I was born into the wrong race ( because I'm so different from the majority). It's a confusing feelng.

@glorp896 ...impossible for me to commit any kind of violent crime. As a matter of fact. I've NEVER even been in a fight. I've just always been really sensitive compared to other black guys ( unfortunately, this caused a lot of bullying). I don't know, it's really hard to explain. I don't even fit in my own family because I'm so different. While they're all loud and obnoxious, I just like myself in my room and read book.....meh sorry for the rambling.

@glorp896 So what about the blacks that don't fit the mould? Growing up, I've noticed that I was different from the other blacks. Ex.: As you know, the majority of blacks have higher testosterone levels which causes them to be more aggressive and loud. I was quite the opposite. Even till this day, I'm a very inhibited, introverted person. I actually have social anxiety( which is very uncommon in blacks) so I'm terrified of people . Because of my timidity, it would be near to...con't...
