Western Electric Model # 302 Rotary Phone. (ringing)

This is my Model #302 phone. The earpiece element and mouth piece element are both dated Feb, 1949.

This was the standard phone which a bell customer would receive if he acquired Bell Telephone service from roughly mid 40's to mid 50's. There were various 302 models which went back to the late 30's. It was eventually replaced by the model 500 which is the more familiar black rotary phone common in the 60's.
