I might have some I'm not ecxactly sure. I have hundred, yes hundreds of tapes to go through, I will get around to it one day. If you haven't already, I suggest you 'Subscribe' to My Channel - that way you will be informed by You Tube of all new shows available on My Channel.

@GLFVIDEO Any chance of getting any more of the original series, the later series was ok but not a patch on the old ones.

Doing my family tree. It's good to know Bill Simpson is my Gran's second cousin:D

Hi John,
Thank You for your comments, how right you are! I have asked BBC Worldwide if they intend to release these old "treasures" on DVD - only to be told it would not be financially worth it - never mind the nostalgia value. BBC Worldwide make a lot of money for the BBC, what they say happens...
Greetings to you from the 'old Country'!..
Sunday evening 7-25pm? The last one I remember was when Dr Finlay was on a train crash and had to tend the injured. I suppose that was 1970 or 71. Bill Simpson like Rupert Davies (Maigret) became typecast. I met Rupert Davies as a kid- it was 1962 and he had a big American station wagon- he was a big star then and he offered me a kitten which my parents refused to let me have! I wish I had known he was a naval aviator- that would have thrilled me even more!

How right you are. They were gentle times then in the world of TV. When one looks back at Z Cars, Softly Softly etc., then compare them to The Sweeney etc., world's apart, a different era.
I am pleased the video brought back a little nostalgia for you, and Thank You for taking the trouble to comment.
