I'm very familiar with both dances and this is the line dance for the Clarence Carter song Strokin'....and this is probably the worst rendition of Reggae Cowboy I've ever heard...tighten up or give it up guys....WAY TOO SLOW...but then again...good musicianship dictates ability to speed up or slow down when needed.....awful.

this may be reggae cowboy ( But the one that i did on utube is over twenty years old and as far as i know it was the original, but dont get me wrong there are a lot of dances called by the same name, it usually goes by area

@Miracle490d I am in VA and thats the dance to strokin, each area probably has different dances for different songs. I agree the music is awful and definitely not the Reggae Cowboy we dance to here.

@SouthernGirl20 That's the dance I learned. I was told that it was the same dance for Strokin and Reggae Cowboy. I was surprised when I came across a different dance for Reggae Cowboy on youtube. Everyone at the club was doing this. But that was several years ago. Did they change it? Or maybe it's the area.
But what is this awful music? That's not Reggae Cowboy. Is there 2reggae cowboy songs confusing? Mine is..."You've got to get into reggae cowboy...." The melody or beat isn't even the same.
