Nice video. I'm going to change some on our '01 sport trac and I was told that the caliper's should be twisted in instead of just mashing them in with a c-clamp. Is this true?

@cb7pwn you're right.. I did one side of the truck and thought "wow, this would make a great you tube video.." so I did the other side just for fun. I didn't use any kind of degreaser since I was pretty much "shooting from the hip" here, and let's face it, I haven't done a brake job in almost 20 years. You win some, you lose some.

Nice Video. I plan on replacing the pad on my 04 Expedition which looks about the same as this 02 F-150. However, two things I would like to know is shouldn't I use caliper grease on the pad tabs and back? And also isn't it a good idea to torque the caliper slide bolts? If so any idea what the torque setting is? Thanks

@1966MustangConv No idea what torque settings are - and yes, you should prolly torque any/all bolts on a vehicle. I'd imagine a good Chilton's manual (do they still make those?) would have all of the torque values in it. Of course you need a torque wrench too (which I don't have anymore).
