In August 2005, Gwyn Ashton threw fifteen guitars, five amplifiers, a vintage Echoplex and a pedalboard of wonder into the back of his Mercedes Sprinter van and drove up to Glasgow to start rehearsing with Chris Glen and Ted McKenna of Sensational Alex Harvey Band and Michael Schenker Group fame. They rehearsed for a couple of days, did a couple of gigs then drove to Ayr to set up to record Ashton's 2006 release, Prohibition. Don Airey also appeared on two tracks but escaped the madness! In between visits from the police and angry residents they actually got a few tracks down. Here is a video of some of that. Footage includes Ted's home-made Shamen stick catastrophe! Enjoy!
