A good marketing trick from RockShox. They've took a RS Recon SoloAir 2010, renamed it to Recon Gold and increase the cost on 100$, while the same fork, but with steel legs (Recon Silver) is going for RS Recon 2010 price! Profit!!! :-)

@MirrorsEdge123 it's with oil and it has options for spring and air.

@festybaws Both can be air sprung, the air versions on either one is identical, the differences between the two are simply weight (Gold being the "better" one is slightly lighter) via different materials in a few key spots.
