Doris Eaton Travis, one of the legendary Ziegfeld Follies Girls, gave her final performance on April 27, 2010 at The 24th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Doris passed away on May 12, 2010 at the age of 106. In the last 13 years of her life, Doris performed at many Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS events and became a regular and audience favorite in The Annual Easter Bonnet Competition, having performed in 12 editions. Doris was a stalwart supporter of BC/EFA and the money raised for The Actors Fund and more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations around the county.

  • It's shocking to see how "with it" she was at 106 years old. Truly remarkable. Let us all wish to live to 106 and be in that good of shape physically and mentally. RIP Doris.
