How could anyone listen to this without it improving their mood? This is what I love about music about this era, almost always upbeat and almost certain to start your tops tapping in time with the music. This one is improved by a number of features including what I assume to be a classical harp in the mix.

Yet another surprise--I didn't know that "Sig" Arno, whom I knew from my youth as a character actor in American movies, used to sing with a dance band! And Marek Weber's band, to boot. I love your posts and their extensive historical notes.

Nachbarschaft eingeladen-Wohnzimmer ausgeräumt-Omama im schönsten Kleid und Obaba in frisch geputzten Stiefeln- Grammophon aufgebaut und dann heissassa, wurde getanzt "wie dor Lomb am Stecka". Zu essen gabs Schwarzwurscht und Brot, zum Trinken Moscht. "Mei Weib soll au ihr Vergnüga han!"
