I re-created this song aurally, which means I listen and then put the notes down. (I didn't do all that great at theory, that explains the random flats/sharps. Haha)

Hey smartas, it's both. In Super Mario RPG, it was possible to fight a secret battle against Clulex, of the FINAL FANTASY series. This theme, is the theme that plays when you fight Clulex in SMRPG, and is also the Boss Battle theme of Final fantasy. There's a couple changes in the theme when it was used in SMRPG, and he based this video off of THAT one.
