I want to see Kerry's full testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee but can't find it on YouTube. One would think something of that importance would be on here already.

There are potential Nazis everywhere; it is not just a German phenomenon from the 1920s to 1940s. The foremost personality characteristic is a fanatical nationalism/patriotism such that any evil done by one's country's military is forgiven, ignored, or even applauded. The USA has plenty of them. It took a lot of effort by a few valiant people to get LT Calley his 3.5 years of house arrest for taking part in the massacre of hundreds of unarmed civilians.

Unfortunately you are afraid to post the entire debate. A free fire zone was not intended for indescriminate firing but allowed our troops to make judgement calls with the best available intel on the ground. Normally they would have to request permission before acting on sensitive intel.
