DVLA takes power from you, by registering yourself as a keeper you waive all your rights and must obey contract -- tax road, MOT, insurance, etc or else...

An African immigrant and an eastern European immigrant! The African guy is right and working as per regulations and the Polish(???) guy is just so full of shit its untrue. If he has no tax he is in the wrong full stop! The police officer was correct and polite. I did not however here him say he had checked or asked for details of his lack of tax. This would have simplified matters drastically.
