Tho the lady denied it later, she did expect the default poverty scenes in India. Every corner of India is not racked by poverty & famine. Slums are a more urban phenomenon, surely. Rajasthan and Kutch states look exactly the way Anderson showed them.

In many ways I like this movie even more than Darjeeling Limited. :)

I dont think they were millionaire kids... were they?? I must have missed that part.

I like how he says it's a particular slice of life. Great way to summarize the movie in a phrase.
