What a voice?

This woman is THE epitome of socialite. A true upper crust, mega rich individual. She could never ever relate to us everyday, hard working, eternally budgeting peasants.
The columns she wrote in newspapers and magazines were so high-falutin' and snobbishly stuffy, it was laughable. Unreadable drip.
Another glass of Chateau Neuf du Pape for Lady Barbara? Oh, ta.

soooooo fake

@brotherizzy Good for the columnist!
Her Ladyship clearly ordered the dress pick-up just so that she could torment the peasant who was driving her.

A Telegraph columnist remembers sharing a car with her to the newspaper office at Canary Wharf late one afternoon. The driver spoke excitedly of how he was going to take his son to a big football match after he'd dropped them off. The traffic was bad and the driver looked anxious as he approached east London. Then Amiel said, "Oh, and would you mind going to pick up a dress for me now in Bond Street." The columnist whispered to the driver to do no such thing; he would fetch the dress himself.

and p.s. - what a smile. and I'm a straight woman - she's incredible and panther like and like royalty all at once..........not saying I agree with what they did or knew........just saying she is as gorgeous as a Barbara Bach, a bond girl!
-
She's a gorgeous intellectual, elegant, amazing. That VOICE. She is a talented journalist, self made. So what if she married a billionaire? He fell for her and what of it????? I love the "ruthlessly seduced"..........oh please, she has been by his side ever since..........what a jealous hater!
-
She ruthlessly seduced Conrad Black then blew much of his wealth on lavish parties and private jets. Now, as expected Barbara Amiel has abandoned her fourth husband Conrad Black as he was sentenced for fraud in 12 days' time.
