Gloomy perhaps. Yes, it can even make you cry, if one is like me & cries easily...but it's also very beautiful, & I cry when I am overwhelmed with the beauty of this world. I also like wondering what the poet was like in real life, inside their heart & mind & what kind of experiences they had to make them write such beautiful poems. Who wants always happy poetry? ...That's not reality.
