As there's about no videos of Pocket Age of Empires (or Age of Empires PPC / AoE PPC if you'd prefer) with audio I decided to give it a quick shot.
This is only the DEMO.
Camera is a bit bouncy as I let the heavy piece of crap rest on my stomach as I was laying in bed playing in the practicly all dark room.
Playing on a HP iPaq HX2490, runs perfectly, some small slowdows is due to the programs running in the background.
iPaq H2490 runs on a 520mhz Xscale processor, 64MB of RAM, 128mb of ROM and the regular 240x320 screen showing 65K of colors. I'll show more videos, such as SNES emulators, smaller apps like that as I get my Keyboard from Expansys any year now... I'll also make sure to make a video from Warfare Inc, and multiplayer if anybody is hot to join me - along with other funny applications making this handheld unit worth the money, as it would otherwise be a incredibly expensive calender alone. This unit ships for around $349 so its not that expensive for such a fantastic unit.
Is this on iPod ?

As Microsoft owns the IP I doubt they would bother publishing it on iOS as little as they seem interested in porting it to their own Windows Phone.
Maybe there's a homebrew application of Age of Empires for jailbroken Apple products.

That sounds a little funny looking how PPC is as dead as the PDA market, regrettably :(
