@Debiruman1666 Anyway, I still love Bruce Lee, he is by far the best Chinese martial artist, and it's shame that last 40 yrs after he died, there's still no top Chinese fighter.
As a Chinese, I found many many Chinese guys called him a liar and not respect him. Also most traditional kung fu guys don't like even hate Bruce Lee.
I guess that's why Chinese kung fu never improved, not one take Bruce's opinion about Kung Fu is not practical anymore.
@Debiruman1666 yeah, but we all know he was a great martial artist because those Karate masters in his era said so, like Bob Wall, he respected Bruce Lee very much. Also some great boxers also respected Bruce's skills very much, such like Sugar Ray Leonardo. Bruce was skilled and powerful, no doubt, but he was not a professional fighters.
There's no trace of Lee fighting against any "master"... we only know 2 fights : one against a Uechi-ryu karate black belt during an exhibition, and his famous fight against Jack Wong (a Tai Chi expert), for the "right to teach to western people" as Lee said, but Wong stated he just challenged Lee to see if he could beat him... without any racial question... Bob Wall reported a fight against during the making of "Enter The Dragon", the rest is all rumors and speculation...
Bruce Lee said he liked Lee Marvin because he was very tough and he likes James Coburn because he liked the philiosphy behind Martial Arts he described James as "A Nice Guy" this can be seen here
Love it!
