The main characters are seen as animals.

The sub-main stars are a young girl, an old father, and a masculine jerk.

The girls are the first to see the 'beasts'.

Both fathers are inventors.

The fathers and daughters end up captured by the jerks, and freed by the "beasts'" friends.

Both villians lead a party.

The villian's party and the beast's party have a battle.

Both Villian vs Beast battles are taken on a stormy, dark night.
