I compare the two co-hosts of this show, and Iman is much more pushy during the second season. Iman is not afraid to be blunt, rude or even use humour in her critiques. "This is a fashion emergency and it needs evacuation", she said to one of the designers because of an unsuccessful design. You should really watch the second season. Maybe the designers are not so interesting - my opinion - but the board of judges is making the interest of the show step it up.

@ASKMYMIND I would wear that, Reco is fucking tacky cheap crap. Anyone with taste can clearly see James Paul should have one, his collection was very Gareth Pugh, Rick Owens, Haider Ackerman, Rad Hourani. This is what is going on at the moment. JAMES PAUL WAS ROBED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!

The reason that Project Runway is more successful is that look aren't worn straight off the runway and The Fashion Show had so much trouble understanding that.

Ready to Wear doesn't come down the runway, high-concept and avante garde things come downs like James Paul.

Look up any McQueen runways show and you won't see anything a normal woman could wear (if you aren't Lady Gaga). James Paul was right on the money. After the runway clothes are toned down, but a runway show is fantasy, not reality.

What most people fail to remember is that the PRODUCERS of FS ALSO have say in EVERY elimination. That is how it goes for every Bravo show and OF COURSE they know that Recos elimination will/has produced controversy and attention.
