Riding to NYC on a Midtown Direct Express train operating only on the center track of the Morris and Essex Line. After transferring at Summit from train 414, train 6620 only stops at South Orange before crawling to Penn Station. We passed trains 809 (Arrow III) and 6611 (ALP-44) along the way. Decent K5LA from MLV 7009. Max speed was 70-75 mph between Milburn and South Orange, and between South Orange and East Orange.

*This was my first time on a NJT MLV train and overall it was just decent. It felt much shakier than the Comet Vs especially when riding on the upper deck. For comfort, I prefer the bottom deck any day. The seat quality had deteriorated as they added a fabric that increases warmth over time.
