Just read this on Yahoo
Russia shifts stance on Iran, Ahmadinejad defiant.
MOSCOW (Reuters) Russia will join any consensus on more sanctions against Iran, a senior Russian diplomatic source said on Tuesday...It was a thinly veiled Russian warning to Iran of waning patience with its failure to allay fears it aims to develop atom bombs in secret, and hinted that Iran could no longer rely on Russia to stop tougher world action against it.
Seems Iran is losing friends.

Where is there a permanent military base going to be? You are wrong on this point. Also, when you say we should get out of the ME, you mean we shouldn't have any embassies there? Nothing wrong with embassies, it's part of diplomacy. This is a good thing.
Did you know France just built a military base in the United Arab Emirates? If both countries agree so what?

Who says we can't fight on behalf of Kuwait? We helped Europe in WW2. I don't know where you get these ideas from. It's like what ever the US is for you are against, even if the US is right. Also, dozens of countries were part of the coalition in the first war against Saddam.

I wonder why you don't mention Egypt's blockade on Gaza.
Egypt and Israel partially sealed their border crossings with Gaza, on the grounds that Fatah had fled and was no longer providing security on their side. Egypt fearing a spill-over of Hamas-style militancy into their territory assisted in the blockade. The sanctions were tightened in response to rocket attacks on southern Israel and Palestinian militant attacks on crossing points between Israel and Gaza.

Uh no. American troops really haven't left Iraq. We're still building permanent military bases there. Also we have a football sized embassy there. The largest embassy in the world.
-
Uh Israel did not leave Gaza precisely why the rockets were fired. Israel still has the blockade and checkpoints there. Also Israeli aircraft is Illegally on they're airspace. Israel says this is "self defense" but this move has backfired obviously. If Israel wanted peace they would have REAL negotiation instead of pretending. Also Saddam invaded Kuwait and NOT America so the first gulf war was totally unjustified. And we see the negative fruits of that war during the 2nd Bush Administration.

We are leaving the Middle East. Iraq is over, troops are coming home. Iraqis are handling their own security now, they don't need us. We'll be completely out by the end of next year. What are you complaining about?
-
Who says invasion is a bad thing? Sometimes invasion is right and necessary. Saddam invading Kuwait was wrong.
So let's see. Israel leaves Gaza. Hamas starts shooting rockets into Israel. Israel warns them to stop. The Rockets continue. Over and over Israel warns Hamas to stop. And then you wonder why Israel attacks Gaza.

Forbidding minarets is not going to really harm anyone, but on the point of principle it was a stupid decision. It seems that the Swiss who care about freedom of religion just stayed home.

To continue on the nuclear weapon idea, I do not think that Iran wants to make a nuke in actuality. It's just about the fear of them making a nuke. They might make a few nuclear power plants, and that would nice for their people and all, but Iran's ruling powers don't give a rats ass about what the people want or truly enjoy.
You don't know the effectiveness of the crazy nuke card. It works, it fueled the Cold War for 40 years and it kept the Soviets afloat for decades before they fucked it up.
Then why isn't the world worried about Israel's undeclared nuclear weapons?
Israel refuses to even admit they've got them, forget about inspecting them.
Seems like a double standard to me.

Iran has as much of a right to nukes as Israel and Zionist controlled America.
