@fuffum233 at the San Diego comic con in July they said that we'd find out what happened eventually but not in the series....sadly.

Well the upshot to this is that fans can now write, draw, animate (whatever) the rest of Team Avatar's story. It provides some very rich fanart opportunities. I just started in on this fandom and I can't wait to get some fanfiction out there! Let's just keep open minds, guys!

@sushipanda411 Hopefully in this new series, they may have some sort of flashback encounter and show the final outcome of Zuko and his mom....and i guess everything else that happened after the last episodes

This sounds good but. a 4th series of the last airbender would be better, i realy want to know what happened to zuko's mother and how everybody lived afterwards...
