To listen to Eno on a summers night in 2007. To be young and in love.

And Eno was there because of Cluster and the Kraut rock bands. Kraut rock was progressive rock, but often more experimental, intellectual, and interesting than the English and American kind. Please don't blast people about pop trivia, especially when you are incorrect.

Bowie relied heavily on a lot of people. He did nothing first, but a lot of things really well and the first to the mainstream spotlight. He was getting ideas from Eno, Bolin, even the New York drags pulled him aside in the clubs when he still looked like a long haired hippie and taught him about the "scene". Eno borrowed from the Germans. There's a reason why Bowie went to Berlin for Low, Station to Station, Heroes. The Idiot, Lust For Life, it was because Eno had already been there.

Sorry, but Eno brought electronics in Bowie's music. That's a fact! And I'm Bowie- and Enofan. You know Eno made music with Fripp before he even met Bowie?
