That happy birthday song wakes me up every day! Its the water trucks that make that.
Oh and themain road is not Keji Lu. It is the road that runs north and south.
And that traffic is nothing. They are putting in a subway now and there is only 1 lane in each direction. lol

The main road is Keji Lu, I don't remember the name of the other cross road. It is in the Sothwest corner of Xi'an on the edge of the High Tech zone. Close to the Shangri-la motel and the Day's Inn motel.
