Is the Shadow the same thing as what eckhart tolle calls the Pain Body? it sounds kind of the same but im not sure if my mind just wants to make that a connection.

I'd say the pain body is part of the shadow...and that often times our shadow creates and/or feeds our pain body. But our shadow can also feel really good in the moment, whereas pain body usually always sucks...but i'd say they are very interconnected for sure!

are... you high? damn hippy... the shadow? murder happens because of hate, vengence, rape happens for someone who is desperate for sexual need. you can't blame everything you do because of a "shadow" go ahead and yell at me, I'll take whatever you dish out. the "shadow " is NOT energy. you choose your emotions. being pissed off is hate, not a shadow, not things that make you angry. love can create jealousy is our "shadow" responsible of that? and I know this is two years old but still...

I agree with the need to control the shadow but in the diatribe philosophies of the far east of the Puunjhibe people, one can delve into the ego and id by assigning the philosophy of traditional yin and yan through the practice of diatonal infarctiton by accepting action and consequence exploring instead of supression

i gotta admit i can relate to this subject. and i understand waht you're saying about your shadow/dark side. i thik that's why so many poeple are controlled by thier shadow side. cause they think denying that side is a good thing but it's a bad thing. i'm learning to accept taht i have a dark side. i think taht helps people stay in control. i think the eddie brock/venom character kind of reminds me of it.
