This fine little piece of film took us 12 hours to shoot, cut, and edit. It was our final project for the Honors Film Adaptation class at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire (UWEC).
We observe flash fiction as a genre of writing not yet recognized in mainstream modern film. Our objective was to adapt several flash fiction stories into one larger story; this story was adapted into a trailer. Trailers are in their own respect a form of adaptation from the full-length movie.
This trailer had the intention of being made into a movie, but we're poor college students with little time and even less money.
The story doesn't exactly make sense and leaves some imaginational-gaps to be filled - just take it with a grain of salt and enjoy it...or kindly move along.
The following flash fiction stories were used:
Michael Arnzen Brain Candy, Punishment, White Out
Rob Hopcott An Affair?
Bret Lott Night
Chuck Rosenthal The Nicest Kid In The Universe
The original movie idea had fewer holes. =)
Thanks for watching and/or reading!
this is pretty random hahahaha
