Official Presidential Announcement

Chairman of the Carroll College Board Mark Semmens announced the selection of the Carroll College Presidential Search Committee to Carroll faculty, staff and friends on December 20, 2011 in the Upper Campus Center. Mr. Semmens introduced the Search Committee and Interim President Dr. Paul McNutt also gave her thoughts on the selection and process.

Carroll College is delighted to announce that the presidential search that began last spring has culminated in the selection of Dr. Thomas Evans as the college's president, with a term to begin in June 2012. He comes to Carroll after most recently serving as associate vice president for professional education and global initiatives at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, a position he has held since 2008.
