-- GPS - Bluetooth - Calibration - Palringo v3 - Add Menu Pages --
I take my 9th look at more features of the Samsung Genio Slide (aka Corby Pro in America/Elsewhere) which I like and think are helpful to anyone who either has or wants this phone and wants to use these as a huge video manual! Feel free to comment and Enjoy! :D

  • hai techsteve i am using samsung corby pro and i really love your vedios but now my phone got touch problem and it is too slow also so plese help me i am ajith from india

  • @ajitooth : You can try to re-calibrate the touch screen to see if that helps, I explain how in this very video. It may also be a good idea to clear some files off of the phone's memory, either delete old files or try moving them to a memory card if you can. Finally, you can try clearing the internet caches if you use them often :)

  • hey, in menu pages. Is it possible to add menu icons??

  • @litlezeno : Unfortunately you cannot add (or remove) icons from the Menu pages, you can only move them around or add extra pages :)

  • @TechSteve21 yes you can.

look for in google a tutorial in sapanish "tutoriales corby pro"

with a ptk? file manager i think.

I used an aplication to do it, the menu icons are in a tect file, each icon is a number (examle: google icon is the 40 an facebook the nuber 50 "is only exzample") if you change the number you change the icon and you can delete it too.

Sorry, now i have a galaxy so if i find the tutorial, i tell you.

Sorry my english is so bad.

  • @TechSteve21 ow dammit :( Thanks for the answer ;)

  • @NarutoShippuden664 : Yes, Tesco Mobile is the phone network I use (I think it's only available in the UK though).

  • @NarutoShippuden664 : Being someone who doesn't dabble in that kind of material, you would have to ask Tesco Mobile for your answer here :)

  • Im commenting usin my samsung genio slide :P Lol

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 : Hmm... If you got your phone from Rogers, it looks like we've found yet another thing that that version of the phone doesn't have... But it looks like Google Maps can be downloaded from Google anyway - just search for "google maps java app". The app itself is free but it uses internet which can cost you depending on your phone contract/tariff unless you connect via WiFi.

    Hope this helps :)
