  • Well, the referee gave 2 Unsportsman-like conduct calls. If they were both on #17, then he was ejected (NFHS rules). I think they could have handled the situation better as a crew.

  • haha, too funny. those games were fun, and we gave it to taylor county, good team, but we won fair and square

  • Why did the referee say that the player was "OUT?" He should have said "17 is Ejected" or " 17 is Disqualified."

  • The final ruling was that it was a delay of game penalty for fighting for the ball to long after the refs said that it was over and unsportsmanlike penalty for tossing the ball.....

  • So you agree that the player was truly ejected, but that the ejection wasn't reported to the FHSAA, correct?

  • The video may or may not be altered... I attended the game that night and was unable to hear the call from the stands...thats all i am saying......

.....No i am not disputing that the TAPE SHOWS the palyer was ejected!.... ALL and ALL the player was not ejected, therefore he was able to play against Union, Taylor, and West Gadsden! ALL I KNOW IS THAT I LOVE FLORIDA HIGH FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ..and TAYLOR LOST to FLORIDA HIGH!

Injuries are part of the game...Florida High knows first hand and you don't hear them conplaining! Taylor lost and the better team won! I think every team in the district wants the better team to go on and represent the disrtict well!...Go Noles

  • Florida High lost to Starke.

    Taylor County beat Starke.

Florida High beat Union Co. 24-20 using an ineligible player.

TCHS beat Union 28-12 despite playing with a back-up QB and back-up center because we didn't bend the rules and risk playing an ineligible player (JV QB who was 7-0 and held out the night before, but who had suited up for the game and participated in warm-ups).

Are you REALLY claiming this video was altered to input sound that matches up with what happened? wow!

  • so, you are not disputing the player was ejected, but you are disputing that the tape shows the player was ejected??

this isn't about the FH-TCHS game or outcome...congrats on a hard-fought 7-0 win....this is about that game and outcome being meaningless if we all played by the same rules.

  • Taylor County just wants the Championship handed to them....The game was played and the better team won.... why is that so hard to swallow?!?!... Both teams worked hard.....One wanted it more than the other....NO FREE HANDOUTS!! Got to work for it!
